For 2021, we compiled a list of all of the Gundam model kits releasing from P-Bandai and all of the exclusive kits announced at Gundam Expo 2021. For 2022 though, we want to do something different by listing ALL of the Gundam kits that Bandai plan to release over the course of the year.
2021 was a big year for the Gundam franchise not just because of the kits that were released, but also because they joined forces with Nike to release the Unicorn Gundam SB Dunk High, and announced three new Gundam anime projects for 2022, including a new anime called Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury. 2022 is looking to impress as well, especially with the new Alpha Industries and STRICT-G Gundam collection that’s inspired by the latest installment in the Gundam franchise, Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway.
While 2021 has yet to come to a close, new Gundam model kits are already being announced for 2022. See what you have to look forward to below! As far as articulation goes, there is a movable shaft in the Shenlong Gundam’s chest and there are slide joints in the shoulders. Both of which allow for more movement and pose-ability.
