Update on October 26th: Added second trailer.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train was set to release in theaters this year, but as with many films and series in 2020, Coronavirus has put things on halt. That being said, we’ve been wondering when this highly-anticipated film will be hitting theaters, and we finally have a glimpse thanks to Demon Slayer‘s official USA account on Twitter.
At the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba panel at NYCC, it was confirmed that the movie will be available to watch in theaters across the United States and Canada in early 2021. In Japan, the new film will be available to watch in theaters on October 16th.
Along with this confirmation, they dropped a new trailer. In it, you see Tanjiro facing off against a new villain and one of the Twelve Kizuki, Enmu. You also get to hear LiSA’s new track and opening theme for the movie, “Homura”. Check it out below!
