As anime continues to grow in popularity, the number of licensed anime statues that release within a year increase, which is exciting because more and more licenses are being obtained by licensed studios and more characters and scenes from anime are being brought to life in statue form.
In recent years, a number of amazing statue releases, including the Jimei Palace Pain Statue and the Prime 1 Studio 1/3 scale Guts, the Black Swordsman statue have released, but 2023 is looking to be just as, if not even more exciting, with a number of new anime statues already being announced from studios like Prime 1, Figurama, ThreeArtisan, Jimei Palace, Infinity Studio, Soul Wing, and more. Queen Studios is even getting into the anime statue game with their first statue releasing in 2023.
The range of scales we are seeing in 2023 is incredible too from 1/1, 1/2, 1/3, and 1/4, scales commonly used for busts and character-centric as well as museum pose statues, to smaller scales like 1/6 and 1/8, scales commonly used for diorama statues. A lot of these statues are up for preorder now at a trusted anime statue retailer and I have included preorder links below as well.

Berserk Statues

Prime 1 Studio Guts, Berserker Armor Rage Edition Berserk Statue (Standard and DX Bonus Editions)

Prime 1 Studio is releasing another 1/3 scale Berserk statue! First they released their 1/3 scale Guts, The Black Swordsman statue and now they are releasing a 1/3 scale Guts, Berserker Armor statue that comes in two editions (The Unleash Edition (pictured below) and the Rage Edition). The Rage Edition statue is estimated to arrive sometime in December 2023-March 2024 and it is approximately 43cm (16.9in) deep, 67cm (26.4in) wide and 121cm (47.6in) tall.
It shows him in the Berserker Armor. There is a light-up feature in the base, which is covered in the bodies of demons that were annihilated by Guts and his Dragon Slayer.
In addition to the standard version, there is a DX Bonus version of this statue. The DX version comes with three extra head sculpts and three different swappable right arms. It also comes with an extra bonus head sculpt with no helmet and blood effects.

There are two version of this statue: An elite version and a premium version. Another nice detail of the statue is the backpack that Rei is wearing, which is made out of real fabric.

Shaka can be displayed standing or seated in a lotus position with Versions B and C and the base is made to look like the stone floor of Athena’s Sanctuary.
Version C comes with interchangeable portraits (one that shows him with his helmet on, one that shows him without his helmet on) and 3 arm swapouts. All of which came with Versions A and B of this statue. Version C comes with an extra left hand swapout and Kid Shaka.

Lupin and Jigen have are hanging out the windows of the car as Fujiko is driving.
This statue features some easter eggs, including Lupin’s wanted poster, as well as a number of details that add even more to this scene, like a fleeing chicken, tarot cards flying off of a table, and more. The base is made to look like cobblestone streets to further bring this statue, which is inspired by the events in Lupin the 3rd Part IV: The Italian Adventure, to life.

Figurama is releasing a 1/6 scale Vampire Hunter D statue of D in 2023 that shows him riding his cybernetic horse with his longsword at the ready. This is the first licensed Vampire Hunter D statue to ever release.
Figurama worked closely with Yoshitaka Amano in the making of this statue and they used illustrations from the original Vampire Hunter D novels as inspiration.
Included with this statue are two portraits for D, two swappable left arms, two longsword options, and an exclusive A3 art print. The bottom of each base is signed by Yoshitaka Amano as well!

This statue shows Caiman and Nikaido enjoying some Gyoza together. The Gyoza Fairy is featured on this statue also.
There is a Deluxe Version of this statue, which comes with three swappable heads for Caiman, four swappable arms for Caiman, two swappable heads for Nikaido, four swappable arms for Nikaido, and two Gyoza fairy figures. The Deluxe comes with head sculpts that show Nikaido and Caiman in their masks.

Prime 1 Studio is releasing a 1/4 scale Fist of the North Star statue of Raoh in 2023 and they are releasing it in four different versions: Standard, Economy, Ultimate, and Gold. It is estimated to arrive sometime in Q1 2023 and it stands approximately 78cm (30.7in) tall, 39cm (15.4in) wide, and 44cm (17.3in) deep.
The standard version comes with a staircase-themed base, swappable shoulder armor parts, and a fabric cape. The economy version, which is the cheapest version, only comes with the stone staircase-themed base.
The ultimate version comes with everything the standard does as well as six swappable heads (some with helmets on, some without), two swappable left arms, three different sets of shoulder armor, and a unique base that features a Kokuoh Sculpture in back.
The gold version showcases Roah with his helmet on covered in gold and leather armor. It also comes with the stone staircase-themed base and a fabric cape. This version is limited to 350 pieces.
