Viz has announced that they are releasing one of my favorite new shonen releases as of late, Gokurakugai by Yuto Sano, in the Spring of 2024 with the first volume releasing on April 16, 2024. It follows a pair of professional troubleshooters named Tao and Alma as they take on a myriad of different problems.
Since Gokurakugai is a supernatural series, there are a lot of unexpected developments in this series, but it’s action-packed and thrilling as well. The art is incredible too. I highly recommend checking it out when it releases in 2024.
In addition to Gokurakugai, Viz announced that they are releasing Kimi ni Todoke: From Me to You: Soulmate by Karuho Shiina, which is a sequel to Kimi ni Todoke, One Piece: Ace’s Story–The Manga, which features art by Boichi (Dr. Stone, Origin), One Piece: Shokugeki no Sanji, a special one-shot by the creators of Food Wars!, Marriage Toxin by Mizuki Yoda, In the Name of the Mermaid Princess by Yoshino Fumikawa and Miya Tashiro, I Want to End This Love Game by Yuki Domoto, and Stitches by Hirokatsu Kihara with illustrations by Junji Ito.
Earthchild, Pokémon Adventures: Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire by Hidenori Kusaka and Satoshi Yamamoto, Tokyo These Days by Taiyo Matsumoto, Splatoon 3: Splatlands, Steel of the Celestial Shadows by Daruma Matsuura, My Name Is Shingo: The Perfect Edition by Kazuo Umezz, Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. by Sekka Iwata and Yu Aoki, Snowball Earth by Yuhiro Tsujitsugu are also releasing in the Spring of 2024, so there’s a lot to look forward to from the publisher in the future.
