Tatsuki Fujimoto Before Chainsaw Man: 17-21 & 22-26

Viz Media announced two new volumes that highlight the origins of Chainsaw Man and Fire Punch's creator Tatsuki Fujimoto. Two short story collections titled Tatsuki Fujimoto Before Chainsaw Man: 17-21 and Tatsuki Fujimoto Before Chainsaw Man: 22-26 are set to release in Spring 2023.

Tatsuki Fujimoto Before Chainsaw Man: 17-21 contains four compelling short stories about alien invasions, high school romances, bloody vampire action, and more.

Tatsuki Fujimoto Before Chainsaw Man: 22-26 contains four more unforgettable short stories about killer mermaids, gender swapping, and a devilish little sister with the power to end the world.

In addition these volumes in 2023, Viz are also releasing Tatsuki Fujimoto's one-shot Look Back in 2022.

Viz Media are also releasing The Girl That Can’t Get a Girlfriend by Mieri Hiranishi in Spring 2023. Viz describe the series as "an autobiographical manga about one woman’s quest for the hot short-haired girlfriend of her dreams".

Mieri is an awkward, nerdy college student with no dating experience, and her previous crushes on fellow butch women have all ended in disaster. That all changes when she meets Ash and has her feelings returned for the first time - but when first love turns to first heartbreak, Mieri will do everything possible to win Ash back.

Insomniacs After School by Makoto Ojiro

Insomniacs After School by Makoto Ojiro is being printed for the first time with English translation by Viz. The first volume is set to release on March 21, 2023.

Insomniacs After School follows Nakami, a studious student that has a sleeping disorder. During preparations for the school festival, he is sent to the school's observatory to gather cardboard boxes, a place said to be haunted by the former members of the Astronomy Club. While rummaging around in the observatory, Nakami finds his classmate Isaki sleeping inside an overturned locker.

Although Isaki, who is popular and personable, also suffers from insomnia. Looking for a middle ground, she finds that there's comfort in spending time together with him, so they resort to making the observatory their own private cubby to sleep and an unexpected relationship between the two is forged.

Helck Manga English Release

Helck by Nanaki Nanao

Helck, an action and fantasy manga by Nanaki Nanao, is being printed for the first time with English translation by Viz. The first volume is set to release on January 10, 2023 and the second is set to release on March 14, 2023.

Soon after the last Demon King was defeated, the Demon Empire holds a tournament to choose the next Demon King. The favorite contestant to win is Helck, a kind-hearted human who says the reason he wants to become the Demon King is to defeat his own race, or does he have an ulterior motive?
