Viz made a series of what they described to be “big announcements” on Twitter today, which revealed some of the manga we can look forward to in Fall 2021. I’m really excited for some of their upcoming releases, including Burn the Witch, Volume 1, the Demon Slayer Complete Box Set, and more.

New Viz Fall 2021 Manga Titles
Burn the Witch, Volume 1
Release date: October 5, 2021
Description: The first volume of Tite Kubo’s Burn the Witch is releasing in Fall 2021. The volume includes a special slipcase, which features the red-and-black plaid pattern we see on the capes that Pipers, like Ninny and Noel, wear.

Deserter: Junji Ito Story Collection
Release date: December 21, 2021
Description: Viz also announced that a new collection by Junji Ito titled Deserter: Junji Ito Story Collection that includes some of his earlier works is releasing in Fall 2021.
Pokémon Journeys: The Series, Volume 1
Release date: November 9, 2021
Description: Viz revealed a new series titled Pokémon Journeys: The Series that follows Ash on his new adventures with Goh. The first volume is releasing in Fall of 2021.

Rosen Blood, Volume 1
Release date: Fall 2021
Description: Rosen Blood is another new Viz title that will be making its debut this Fall. Viz describes the series as follows, “After an awful carriage accident, Stella awakens in a gothic mansion in the presence of four impossibly gorgeous vampire.”
My Love Mix-Up!, Volume 1
Release date: October 5, 2021
Description: My Love Mix-Up! is a new story about a boy who loves a girl, the girl who loves other boy, and the other boy, who thinks the first boy loves him. The first volume releases this Fall.

Mao, Volume 1
Release date: September 14, 2021
Description: Mao is Rumiko Takahashi (Inuyasha, Urusei Yatsura, Rin-ne) latest creation. It’s a story set in Taisho era Japan in a time when the world is infested with demons, and it is about an exorcist named Mao, who is the only one that can end them!

Description: Viz announced that Frieren: Beyond Journey‘s first volume is releasing in Fall 2021. Viz described the series as follows, “For immortal elf Frieren, the adventures are over. Now a new adventure begins: figuring out what to do with the rest of her life!”

Fullmetal Alchemist: A New Beginning
Release date: October 12, 2021
Description: Fullmetal Alchemist: A New Beginning is a light novel that centers around Winry, and this is the first time it is being published with English translation.

Demon Slayer Complete Box Set
Release date: October 5, 2021
Description: Viz announced that they’ll be releasing a complete box set that collects all 23 volumes of Koyoharu Gotouge’s Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Also included in the box set are exclusive bonus gifts, an exclusive booklet and a double-sided poster.

One Piece Manga Box Set 4
Release date: September 7, 2021
Description: Viz are releasing the 4th manga box set for One Piece in the Fall of 2021. It collects volumes 71–90, which cover the Dressrosa, Zou, Whole Cake Island and Reverie arcs. Also in the box set are exclusive bonus gifts, which include an exclusive premium booklet and a double-sided color poster.

In addition to these new titles and manga box sets, Viz also revealed new releases, including One Piece Pirate Recipes, which includes Sanji-style recipes, the My Hero Academia: Ultra Analysis: The Official Character Guide, and The Creative Gene, a book about Hideo Kojima, who created Death Stranding and Metal Gear Solid, and the influences that inspire his work.
