This weekend, Prime 1 Studio hosted their second Next Level Showcase on YouTube. At the event, they revealed four new statues of characters from anime and manga, including Fist of the North Star, Fullmetal Alchemist, Evangelion, and Alita, and debuted a license for an anime I’ve been hoping they’d make statues of for quite some time, Attack on Titan. Since the time of writing this post, they announced more anime statues at their Next Level Showcase 3!

Prime 1 Studio Premium Masterline Roah Fist of the North Star Statue

At their Next Level Showcase 2, Prime 1 Studio announced their second Fist of the North Star statue of Raoh. There is going to be a standard version and a DX version of this statue. The DX version comes with four head sculpts that we know of so far, one that shows him wearing his helmet and three without (one with a serious expression, one with a smirk-like expression, and another with a grimacing expression) as well a variety of different left arm parts to display him in different poses.

His red cloak is made out of real fabric and can be detached for a different display. Another important detail on this statue is the stone statue of his horse Kokuoh, which is included on the base.

Prime 1 Studio Fullmetal Alchemist Ed & Alphonse Concept Masterline Statue

At their Next Level Showcase 2, Prime 1 Studio also announced one of the most dynamic statues I’ve seen from them to date of Alphonse and Ed from Fullmetal Alchemist. Originally, they had planned to make two separate statues of Alphonse and Ed but they ended up redesigning it and decided to release this one with both of them featured on the same statue instead.

Ed comes with multiple right arm swapouts and, from what I can see in the video, the armor detailing on Alphonse looks incredible. The Flamel is featured front and center on the base and they also added a transparent Transmutation Circle that has a light-up feature. On the back of the base, they added The Gate of Alchemy, which is staring at you.

Since the time of writing this post, Prime 1 Studio have revealed a preorder date of June 3rd, 2021! They also have since revealed that this statue is going to have both a Standard ($999 USD) and Deluxe Version ($1,249 USD).

The DX Version comes with a total of 4 swappable Automail arms for Ed (one with a melee weapon, one with his transmuted Automail Blade, one with a balled-up fist, and one with his transmuted Spear), 3 swappable portraits for Ed each with a different expression (A determined expression, yelling expression, and a smirking expression), and two swappable right hands for Alphonse (one with an open strike palm and another with a balled up fist).

Prime 1 Studio Evangelion 13 Josh Nizzi Concept Statue

Prime 1 Studio revealed their second Evangelion concept statue from Josh Nizzi of the Evangelion 13 and this statue looks absolutely badass. I picked up the first Josh Nizzi concept statue and I’m definitely going to be picking this one up as well. The way they recreated the Spear of Longinus, the intricate mechanical details, and the roaring expression featured on his head sculpt look amazing. The base also features a lot of detail since it showcases the aftermath of battle with all of those destroyed buildings and the Mark.06.

Prime 1 Studio Alita “Gally” Statue

The final anime/manga statue they revealed was their Alita “Gally” Premium Masterline statue and this is probably my favorite they’ve released of Alita so far, because it is based off the manga and she is shown in a very dynamic action pose. They also showcased the swappable head parts that will come with this one; Each featuring a different expression. I especially enjoy the portrait that shows her with that battle cry-like expression. She is also shown annihilating a socket soldier in the Deluxe Version, which is really cool.

This statue is going to come with two base options. The Deluxe Version base features the battle with the socket soldier while the regular version has a more simple, rocky base.
