A new F:NEX figure of Satoru Gojo from Jujutsu Kaisen is expected to release sometime in March 2022. This figure will be the first to release in their Mappa Showcase figure line, but it is not the only figure that F:NEX have announced from the series. F:NEX also revealed a 1/7 scale figure of Yuta Okkotsu and Rika Orimoto that are making their first appearance in Jujutsu Kaisen 0, which is in theaters now. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 was also confirmed for 2023 release.
The Mappa Showcase line is going to include figures that F:NEX make in collaboration with animation studio MAPPA, who are the studio behind our top anime of 2020, Jujutsu Kaisen, the final season of Attack on Titan, Dorohedoro, Dororo, and many more. They are also the studio that was tapped to do the animation for the highly-anticipated Chainsaw Man anime that's coming in 2022.
The Gojo Mappa Showcase Figure comes in 1/7 scale and it is inspired by the life-size statue of him that was on display at the Jujutsu Kaisen Anime Exhibition in Japan. It is sculpted by Design COCO, who also sculpted the Hatsune Miku: Miku with You 2021 Ver. 1/7 Scale Figure as well as the Sword Art Online Alice & Asuna: Crystal Dress Ver. figures that were recently announced.
The figure is made of PVC and ABS and it comes with a stand that is made to look like it's made up of ink. It is approximately 9.4in tall and retails for around $250 USD. As always though, keep in mind that prices and estimated arrival dates may vary depending on where you preorder this figure from. Gojo is captured in a laid-back seated pose with his blue Six Eyes peeking out as he takes off his blindfold. His figure also detaches from the base, so you can display him seated on the shelf or elsewhere in your collection.
